Chrome’s Chromoka Campaign: A Decade of Culture
Chrome, the iconic brand deeply rooted in Kenya’s street culture, has launched Chromoka, a vibrant National Consumer Promotion (NCP) marking its 10-year anniversary.
More than a campaign, Chromoka celebrates a decade of creativity, authenticity, and community, while empowering a new generation to dream, create, and “omoka” (make it).
A Decade of Culture and Connection
The name Chromoka blends Chrome with the Swahili word Omoka, capturing the brand’s spirit of ambition and success. Over the years, Chrome has become more than just a beverage, it’s a cultural symbol that mirrors Kenya’s energy and expression.
The campaign celebrates Chrome’s journey from its beginnings to becoming a part of Kenya’s social and cultural identity. It also reaffirms the brand’s commitment to uplifting and inspiring those who continue to shape culture from the ground up.
“For a decade, Chrome has been more than just a beverage; it has been part of countless cultural moments, a silent witness to joy, creativity, and connection,” said Andrew Kilonzo, Country Managing Director at EABL.
“Chromoka is our way of celebrating this incredible journey and reaffirming our purpose to contribute meaningfully to culture. We believe in the power of individual expression and collective strength, and Chromoka is a testament to that belief.”

Rewarding Creativity and Ambition
The Chromoka campaign brings an exciting reward experience that allows consumers to engage with the brand while winning life-changing prizes. Every prize is carefully selected to reflect Chrome’s values, empowerment, creativity, and community.
“Chromoka is about celebrating, empowering, and connecting,” said Mark Mugisha, Marketing and Innovations Director at KBL.
“We have curated rewards that directly contribute to Kenya’s cultural landscape. Imagine a young creator receiving a content creation masterclass that changes their career, or someone winning cash that fuels their ambitions. To mark our 10-year milestone, we’re giving ten lucky winners Ksh 1,000,000 each. Overall, we expect to reward more than 110,000 consumers nationwide, creating excitement and shared celebration across the country.”
Celebrating Responsibly
Chrome remains committed to promoting responsible drinking. The Chromoka NCP is open only to individuals of legal drinking age.
To participate, buy a bottle of Chrome, scratch the label to reveal a code, and send it to 22110.
As Chrome celebrates ten years of culture, the brand invites its community to join this new chapter, one that champions creativity, connection, and celebration at every moment.
