Nairobi, Kenya – Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 in Kenya, introducing advanced AI-powered health features, longer battery life and enhanced performance designed to help users stay connected, active and healthy.
The latest Galaxy Watch lineup delivers deeper health insights through continuous biometric monitoring, allowing users to better understand their fitness, sleep and overall wellness. Built for all-day comfort, both devices also feature Samsung’s brightest smartwatch display yet, improved durability and faster processing capabilities.

AI Takes Health Tracking to the Next Level
At the heart of the new smartwatch experience is the upgraded Samsung Health app, which uses artificial intelligence to analyse health data collected throughout the day.
The app provides personalized insights into physical activity, sleep quality and recovery. It also delivers recommendations that help users understand their daily readiness and make informed decisions about exercise and wellness.
Samsung has also introduced enhanced wellness features, including Energy Score, Daily Cardio Load and an upgraded Vitals tool. Together, these features help users monitor recovery, optimize workouts and track overnight health indicators more accurately.

Both smartwatches run on the new 3nm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, which offers faster performance while improving power efficiency.
Battery life has also received a boost. The Galaxy Watch9 40mm comes with a 390mAh battery, while the 44mm model features a 445mAh battery for extended daily use.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is equipped with an 800mAh battery, delivering multi-day performance for users with demanding lifestyles.

Samsung designed the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for users who require greater durability in challenging environments.
The smartwatch features a titanium body with an IP69K durability rating, making it suitable for outdoor adventures and demanding activities while maintaining a premium design.
Additionally, users running One UI 9 on compatible Galaxy smartphones can access a new Warranty and Care section directly from their device settings. The feature allows customers to check warranty information and perform self-diagnostics without visiting a service centre.

The Galaxy Watch9 40mm retails at KES 42,200 and is available in Cream and Graphite.
The Galaxy Watch9 44mm costs KES 46,000 and comes in Graphite and Silver.
For users seeking maximum durability and battery life, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 47mm is available for KES 79,600 in Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray.
