Artcaffé Brings Mediterranean Flavours to Kenya With Its New Winter Menu
Cool weather calls for comforting meals, and Artcaffé has answered with a fresh seasonal menu inspired by the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa.
The new Winter Mediterranean Menu combines smoky grills, fragrant spices, fresh herbs and citrus notes to create dishes that are both hearty and refreshing. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, meeting friends for lunch or enjoying a cosy dinner, the menu promises something exciting for every occasion.
“Seasonal menus are one of our favourite Artcaffé traditions because they allow us to explore a cuisine with real energy and give our guests something genuinely new,” said Jyoti Patel, Head of Culinary at Artcaffé.
She added that the menu balances the comfort people crave during winter with bright, fresh ingredients that keep every dish vibrant.
New dishes worth trying
One of the biggest highlights is the Bone-Broth Dawa. Made from 24-hour slow-cooked bone broth with ginger and a touch of salt, it offers a warm and nourishing alternative to traditional hot drinks. Sourced from Artcaffé’s own butchery, it’s designed for chilly mornings or cool evenings.
Another standout is the Casablanca Chicken Tagine. The Moroccan-inspired dish pairs slow-cooked chicken with Persian jewelled rice, roasted almonds and a fresh salad for a colourful and satisfying meal.
Grill lovers also have plenty to explore. The Beef Kebab Tabbouleh combines grilled beef kebabs with focaccia, tabbouleh rice, fries and creamy tzatziki. Meanwhile, the Mediterranean Snapper features grilled fish served with tomatoes, olives, olive oil and fresh herbs.
If you’re after something lighter, the Chicken Tikka Skewers arrive with peppers, onions and a zesty lemon-coriander dressing.

Fresh wraps and colourful bowls
The new menu also introduces handheld favourites inspired by Middle Eastern street food.
The Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap blends hummus, pickled carrots, radish, coriander and chilli for a satisfying bite. Meanwhile, the Beef Doner Kebab Wrap combines charred peppers with lemon tahini for a rich, smoky flavour.
Vegetarian diners are equally spoilt for choice. The Adas Falafel Harvest Bowl layers falafel, beetroot, butternut, hummus, tabbouleh rice and crunchy za’atar chips into one colourful meal.
There’s also the Arabic Bulgur Salad, which combines bulgur wheat, cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, mint, feta, raisins and spicy nuts in a bright lemon and olive oil dressing.
The Mediterranean influence extends throughout the day. Guests can start with Turkish Eggs in the morning, enjoy Moroccan Harira Soup for lunch or share Medina Beef Arayes and hummus platters over dinner.
The drinks menu follows the same theme. New additions include the Mediterranean G&T, the refreshing Minted Firebird mocktail and a curated wine collection sourced and labelled in the South of France by Artcaffé’s team of sommeliers.
Alongside the seasonal menu, Artcaffé has launched Moments, its new loyalty programme.
Customers can sign up by scanning a QR code in-store or through the website. Members will enjoy exclusive rewards across Artcaffé restaurants, Gourmet Markets, Gastro Bars and event services.
The programme rewards everyday visits, whether for a morning coffee, business lunch, family dinner or weekend celebration.
Growing across Kenya
The menu arrives as Artcaffé continues its national expansion.
After opening locations in Kisumu and Voi, the brand has added new outlets in Kianda, South C and Ngong Town. More branches are planned for Thika Town, Tatu City, Loresho, Nakuru and Eldoret.
The expansion is expected to create more than 700 jobs across Kenya in 2026 while bringing the Artcaffé experience to even more communities.
“Artcaffé has grown because people have made us part of their everyday lives,” said Grace Njeru, Head of Markets.
She noted that the new menu, the Moments loyalty programme and the expanding network of restaurants all reflect the brand’s commitment to creating memorable dining experiences while supporting job creation across the country.
With bold flavours, seasonal comfort and plenty of new dishes to discover, Artcaffé’s Winter Mediterranean Menu offers a delicious excuse to gather around the table this season.
